After many years in retail management, I found that I have many incredibly fun, light hearted, and at times unbelievable stories to tell. The multitudes of customers, employees, and bosses I experienced through the years gave birth to an amazing amount of material. Looking back on those experiences now makes me laugh - but it wasn't always so funny living through it most days. Retail in general is one of the most thankless jobs one could have as dealing with the general public can be tasking at times to say the least. I decided I wanted to share my stories with other retailers that could relate to - and laugh at the experiences I describe. Many of my stories will make you think "Hey - that sounds like a day in my life!!". Originally - my thought was to keep this site strictly for retail stories - but then I thought about all the fantastic material out there yet to be published. I myself have read many form letters from publishers and agents rejecting my work. But did you know the Harry Potter series was rejected 10 times before a publisher took a chance? So - I thought this would be a great vehicle for people to get their work recognized. The Internet is a great place - so get it out there and see what happens.
